Beautiful wedding at Dulwich College

Rosie and Graham had their late September wedding at Dulwich College, a beautiful building that felt quite familiar in a school for witchcraft and wizardry kind of way. There was a library, a grand staircase and, of course, a great hall for the wedding breakfast; all feeling very Hogwarts so far. It was just missing a forbidden forest and a 3-headed dog in the third floor corridor. Although there was a one-headed dog in attendance which was equally as exciting! Dolly (Rosie’s Bichon Frise) was the ring bearer during the ceremony and a happy guest at the reception. I love weddings with dogs!

The wedding ceremony was at St Stephen’s Church, just down the road from Dulwich College. It was Rosie’s Church that she had been going to for years so it felt like a very personal service. After the ceremony most guests were able to walk down to Dulwich College while we did the group shots at the Church, and then everyone was there to greet the bride and groom when they arrived in their vintage car.

On arrival at the wedding at Dulwich College everyone was greeted with a glass of Prosecco or an Aperol Spritz. Most people were mingling in the gorgeous entrance hall while others were spilling out into the grounds. I managed to sneak out with Rosie and Graham for some portraits before everyone sat down for dinner in the main hall, and we also managed to pop out again quickly just before the sun went down.

After the speeches and the cutting of the cake, it was time for all the guests to move back downstairs for the party. The band were all set up and ready to go, and Rosie and Graham did their first dance on that beautiful tiled floor in the entrance hall. That’s when the party really started to get going – what a fantastic wedding day!
