It seems strange to be writing about a summer wedding in the middle of winter, but I do have quite a few weddings to catch up on from this year! Nicola and Simon’s wedding at BMA House was just beautiful. What a gorgeous venue for a ceremony, right in the middle of busy London, near Euston station, it’s a real oasis of calm.
The ceremony was in The Prince’s Room at BMA House. With huge windows, a stunning chandelier and large mirrors on the wall, this room was just flooded with natural light. After the ceremony we all headed down into the beautiful gardens for some drinks and canapés. This is truly the place where you would have no idea that you were in central London. Set back from the traffic and full to the brim with trees and a lovely pond, it’s a wonderful location for some couple portraits. We managed to spend a few minutes getting some photos while all the guests got themselves in position for the confetti. The gates at BMA House made a great backdrop for these photos!
We all then bundled onto a London bus and made our way over to the Bank of England where the brasserie 1 Lombard Street is located. It’s a beautiful restaurant and the tables looked lovely with simple centrepieces of fresh eucalyptus and white roses in small glass bottles and tea lights.
During the dancing I snuck out with Nicola and Simon for some night portraits on the streets of the City of London before they headed back to their party.
