Emma and Martin’s Surrey engagement shoot in Priory Park
[W]ell this Surrey engagement shoot was lovely and local for me! Very near to wear I live in Redhill there is Priory Park in Reigate, a beautiful park with lovely wooded areas, the perfect place to go for a run (if you’re into that sort of thing) or to walk the dog, but also the perfect place for an engagement shoot. Especially if it’s the end of April and the bluebells are out in full bloom!!
Emma and Martin had brought along their little baby Edie, so of course we had to include her in a few photos as well. She looked so adorable sat in amongst the bluebells. I always love it when couples bring their kids along to engagement shoots as I really enjoy family photography as well as weddings!
We started by walking through the woodland where all the bluebells were growing to get a few shots there first. The vibrant purple colour spread across the ground amongst the trees made it look like a fairytale forest. We then made our way through the park, stopping briefly at a bench and a wall that Emma and Martin had spotted earlier and thought I might like. I do love a brick wall as a backdrop in photos! Finally we ended up at the Reigate castle grounds which is where we finished. I loved this session so much, and these two are such great fun.
These two lovely people are getting married next month at Parkside School in Cobham and I can’t wait. I went to visit the venue the other day and it is just so beautiful, with loads of cute little spots for photos. It’s going to be a wonderful day!
