[S]ally and Sukh’s stylish Oakley Court Hotel wedding was beautiful from start to finish. They are a cute and lovely couple and after speaking to Sally on the phone about the wedding I was really looking forward to it. I knew it was going to be a complete blast!
The wedding morning
The day started very calm and relaxed with Sally and her bridesmaids getting ready at Sally’s parents house. The bucks fizz was flowing and the girls all looked super cute in their matching dressing gowns. The atmosphere was upbeat and everyone seemed excited, I could tell it was going to be a lovely day.
The ceremony at Oakley Court Hotel
When Sally arrived in the wedding car at the Oakley Court Hotel she seemed a bit nervous and as she walked down the aisle with her dad I could tell she was getting a bit emotional. As soon as she reached Sukh, they looked at each other and suddenly she was smiling and laughing and I could see the love they have for each other. Sally and Sukh are both very stylish people and they both looked gorgeous on the day. With Sally’s sparkly tiara, embroidered Pronovias dress and glittery heels, and Sukh’s shiny brogues and pocket watch, they were both looking marvellous. After the ceremony they walked done the aisle while plenty of confetti was hurled in their direction and it looked beautiful.
The reception started with drinks and canapes being served in the garden at the Oakley Court Hotel which is a stunning setting overlooking the river. After a while everyone was moved inside for the wedding breakfast, and I was excited because I had been waiting for this moment all day. I knew that Sally and Sukh were going to be entering the room accompanied by Indian drummers who were going to do a surprise performance. I was not disappointed, it was fantastic!
After the dinner and speeches Sally popped away to have her hairstyle changed into a half-up, half-down look which was beautiful. When she was back it was time to cut the cake and get the dancing started! The confetti canons during the first dance were a genius idea and once all the guests hit the dance floor there was so such madness going on around me I could hardly keep up. It was great! Sally and Sukh’s mates seem to love a good dance and I managed to get some great shots of them showing off their best moves.
