Chiswick Town Hall wedding
This was such a sweet wedding. It was very relaxed and low-key, and with only a small number of family and friends invited to keep it personal and intimate. Christele and Makram were married on 8th July this year at the beautiful Chiswick Town Hall.
These two first met in Dubai, and while they initially didn’t like each other much, they were soon drawn together and realised that their personalities just clicked. It was lovely to witness how perfectly matched they are, and how deeply they care for each other. Their lovely multi-cultural mix of friends and family were all so welcoming, friendly and fun, they were a very warm bunch to be around.
Wedding reception in a London pub
Christele and Makram had their wedding reception at The Lamb pub in Chiswick, just down the road from the town hall. While their guests made their way down the road to get a drink, I took the newlyweds for a little walk around the local streets to get some portraits. This is when I got one of my current favourite photos, of them holding hands in front of a red side door to the town hall. I love a vibrant coloured background and this door is so beautiful.
When we arrived at the pub everyone greeted the bride and groom with a big cheer and they danced their way into the room. Everyone was in a great mood, it was a very relaxed and intimate celebration with delicious food, a few speeches, some drinks and a beautifully decorated cake.
Relaxed pub wedding
This is exactly the type of wedding that I just love. Something truly personal and intimate, very chilled out, and in the traditional London setting of a good British pub.
